Now that there are more songs, I am redoing this list. If you’re up on the sound track, just page down to “New this week”. Because I’m putting up a song a day, I will just do this once a week, okay? If you don’t want me to do this, tell me.

New London, New London (is a hell of a town.)
Thanks for the Boats. (Possibly my favorite when I’m in that kind of mood.)

Great stuff. Thanks for doing this. (and for the rest of your work)
I’m curious about the process. Forgive me if you described it and I missed it.
Does the clank generate the video and the song from the same prompt? If not, how are they related? Can you tell us how the communication between the (programmer, prompter, human element, ?) and the clank is conducted?
Thanks,
Lynwood

No, I write the lyrics, and then describe how I hear it (by style.) A free for all fight ensues with Suno, who interprets things like “no harmonica” as “I’d like some harmonica, please.” Or “mood, introspective and sad” as “please write a dance tune.” (Or the opposite.)
Some the music is right or almost right (I fine tune it) right away, some takes… I think my max was 80 interactions.
THEN I hit gemini and midjourney for the image (difficult on the Ellyans) and mostly midjourney for the video. Though I swear Midjourney is getting increasingly averse to direction. No matter what you tell it you want, it just does random stuff for video. The videos are short, so you then have to stitch them together for the full song video. (Which is why I have several songs waiting for videos. Some I’m not sure which images even to put on them.) It will come.
Anyway, that’s the process.
