Your Nightly Clanker Songs

I really don’t mean to make a nightly thing of this, but since it’s two days in a row, well….

After the week I’ve had it should surprise no one that I’m singing the blues (Right?)

This next one, Strains of Earth, you’ve heard before, but the video was so bad it BOTHERED me.

I mean, one thing is rendered guys singing, but these rendered guys looked like prats, and I kept wanting to non-metaphorically render them, which is very mean… But there it is. So I did the current video which is more fun.

ALSO for reasons inscrutable (Or perhaps crustable if you’re completely insane) the other video had a comment from some guy who, in the tone of someone uncovering a great conspiracy, appeared to think I PERSONALLY was about to foist an Interplanetary Diplomatic corps upon him. (Look at my schrodinger ships, ye mighty and despair.)

So this one has an explanation of the IDS and the schrodinger worlds in the text. Yes, I AM aware no one will ever read it but indulge me, at least it’s there.

Anyway, that’s your nightly dose of singing clankers. And now I should go write chapters and NOT the ghost story that’s trying to attack me.

  5. Alas, Eeew Tuub is being a right royal prat tonight. Three (or more) US exit points, two foreign countries also; no VPN setting I’ve tried produces anything but an endless loading loop, or, more frequently a “log on to access content” error.

    And it is that — since I don’t have a U-Tube account, that’s in Aint Gonna Happen territory. Error!

    It’s also refusing to play the weekly 20+ minute Marcus House space video (from Tasmania). Usually, in the past, some such assorted internet Artful Doging has worked; but not so tonight.

    Perhaps YT will quit p*ssing in its own cornflakes tomorrow, “Tomorrow is another day.”

    For now, for me, 20+ minutes sent uselessly down the Eeeuww Tube is quite enough.

    1. Tube of U will not play on my setup of Pale Moon, but if I switch to Firefox (no blockers, so it doesn’t get used a lot), it plays fine, both as embedded in this post or directly.

      I bailed on the 20 minute video about “50 small details on Gilligan’s Island”. Not with way too much blood in my caffeine stream. (No, not even if caffeinated. YT is weirder than Portland on a Saturday night.)

        1. I know. It was a “you might want to watch this [redacted] after you watch the good stuff” selection. Got curious, lost interest after a couple of minutes.
