We lost Geoffrey Withnell I don’t know how or when, but his wife just left a message on my newsletter telling me he was gone.

He’s been a commenter here for a long, long time, and his input was always appreciated.

Ave atque vale, Geoffrey, godspeed until we meet again.

Raises glass. Drinks. Throws glass.

Absent companions.

    All-powerful and merciful God, we commend to you Geoffrey Withnell your servant. In your mercy and love, blot out the sins he has committed through human weakness. In this world he has died: let him live with you forever. Through Christ our Lord, amen.

  18. Just wrapped up my “working” day, and saw this. Good thing, very hard to concentrate when the eyes keep tearing. A grievous loss.

    Here yesterday, gone today, remembered for whatever years I have left.

    Sarah, I assume that you will post when/if you have a place to send contributions, either to the family or whatever other place he might have wished.
