It’s cold. There’s snow falling. I had a horrible week. I want to crawl back under the covers with a good book.
I think I’ll go downstairs and play with the pastels and the drawing for a while.

I heartily endorse this action. May I have dispensation to do the same?

It’s cold. There’s snow falling. I just had a great workout. Now I’m gonna make some chicken korma or jalfrezi (I’m not sure which sauce is in the cupboard). Then I’m gonna curl up with my word processor and finish a story that has been interrupted by two other stories.
For me, sometimes the difference between a bad day and a good day is good Indian food.

I’m considering making Lobster Bisque and low-carb cheese biscuits for supper.

We got snow here. Torn between going to Kroger and curling up under a blanket of cats. Earnie keeps hopping up and demanding snuggles, which makes the desire to get the grocery shopping done, already, a bit less…

D’Artagnan cat is cold and keeps crawling on our lap and under our clothes. He wants cuddles and pets, and — sigh — so do I. I’ve got the older boy to make me tea so strong the spoon will stand in it (like grandma used to make) and then I think I’m going for a tramp through the snow.

Could you send some of the snow this way? It is raining here, we have had practically no winter, I have about six inches of snow in my yard, most years at this time I have about 3 feet, and a couple years have had over 5.
Personally I am trying to decide wether to make brownies or apple pie. If I can’t decide maybe I’ll just have to make both ;)

I like rain. I miss rain. When we visited Oregon I went for walks in the rain, I missed it so much.
