Oh, come on. I’m only one sixth through the plot. You didn’t think I was done, right?
My head just hasn’t been right for poetry.
This concludes the first album, though. As soon as I get them converted to MP3, I’ll put them in bookfunnel for download. (Yes, I AM trying to build shop before Christmas, but it takes time.)
Now, the first one is …. well, if you can’t sing happily about defenestration, you should just pack it up and go home. ;) (Yes, I DO know Imaginos is going to yell at me. It’s good for his vocal chords! It’s exercise!)
The second is not AS bouncy. It’s not about someone almost dying, after all.
What do you use for the animation and is Openshot enough to glue the parts together?
This is the best I have so far (if one likes this kind of thing):

WPDE.
I have a comment in moderation. WordPress is being annoying today.

Just a reminder – the title of the first one, the word d e f e n e s t r a t i o n (remove spaces) is a WPDE magical straight-to-mod trigger (heh) word. Use at your own risk.

A week or so ago somebody experimented and found out WPDE is triggered by any word that starts with ‘d e f e n’. It also seems to hate words starting with ‘o f f e n’.

Good Lord, Sarah! Are you now going into the opera and musical theater business?? The Queen of Versailles just announced it was closing 4. January! Tough biz but reviews were mixed. At least it opened, in 1967 Breakfast at Tiffany’s closed before it opened!

No. I’m just doing the sound track to the book….

Great. Now I am hearing
“I’ve been working with the Clankers, singing strange songs….”

Now that takes me back…

Ah, now I have the complete soundtrack to Part 1 of NML. I’ve got it under “Sarah and the Clankers”.
I saw Die Fenster Ausgehen last night, recorded it (ffmpeg for the win), and as I was writing the USB stick for the car, saw this post. Recorded and writing the stick. Mwha ha ha!
I even made the songs in the same order as the official playlist. Yippie!

No. It’s half of the first book. BUT I will put it out as a CD.

Aye. I have what’s in your playlist, as well as (all/most?) of the other NML related songs (plus Athene’s Song). It makes the long drive to/from town more fun when there’s some good music.

Apparently using the German for window (F E N S T E R) triggers WPDE moderation. Either that or using BBESP’s name “and the Clankers”. :)
If WP actually understands Deutsch, I’m screwed.

Madam, we’ve discussed this before, please stop forcing the clankers to sing. Do not taunt the happy sing bots…Singing is a sign of an AI/Clanker gone bad. E.G. Hal 9000 and “A Bicycle Built for 2” and GlaDOS with “Still Alive” and “Want You Gone”. Admittedly correlation is not causation, but still better not to risk it.
