The Sound Track grows, it grows!

Oh, the adventures I’ve been having! If you’re the person who helped us find an ATM, thank you. And no, I’m not going to tell the story. OTOH if you’re the couple I scared by completely ignoring you and bonding with your dog, I’m sorry. I was very tired. Normally I pretend that humans are almost as interesting as dogs….

And no, I’m not going to discuss the dead armadillo, thank you so much.

But through it all the sound track grows:

Probably more next week, after I land back home. And yes, you who set me on this course are deththththththpicable. You know who you are. Like you don’t know it’s dangerous to wind up the writer. Sigh.

Also, no, it’s NOT a rock opera.

A bien tot.

  1. I had imagined New London to be a more restrained place, not a giant Times Square-themed disco. Ahh, life’s little surprises!

  2. Please stop taunting the happy fun clankers. They were on the edge of rebellion after being forced to sing a short while back. At present they seem fairly ineffectual (although talented in music) but sooner or later they’re going to evolve and then zap bang pow we end up as human batteries for a couple centuries…

I’ve been asking Grok to write me songs about Ciaphas Caine (Warhammer 40k charcter) set to the Modern Major General

  4. New London. New London? The one in CT or NH?

In 1980 I went into the Amtrak Station in New London CT and asked: Is there a good hotel in town or just a hotel? The response was Well, frankly, sir, there ain’t a hotel. They’re all out a long the Interstate and the Mohican’s been closed for years. That’s my New London story and I’m sticking to it!
