Hi Huns, Hoydens, and other creatures,
I have a lovely guest post . . . and I don’t know what name the author wants on it! Darn (checks notes) authors and their pen names.
It will be up by and by when the author gets back to me.
All are well on the Hoyt end of the blog: a little frazzled by the existence of global rotation and the resulting differences in night and day. As happens.
Ah, yes, that big bright light in the sky. Very distracting. 😃

But don’t be too afraid. It’s a natural albeit thermonuclear occurance.

Thermonuclear occurrences are of course completely natural. Just like the Pasadena and Malibu fires. Luckily it is unlikely the former could be initiated by an Uber driver.

At least it’s not a ghost post. I mean, a post that doesn’t exist, not a post about ghosts. We’ve already got one of those.

We are now post-post; the post this post was a placeholder for has been posted. 😁

Ah, so we are not only left unsupervised, but time travel is involved!
What mischief might we do yesterday?

I think you already did!

The Reader never does mischief yesterday when he can do it tomorrow.

I do like My Favorite Martian doing that in The Sting.

The aardvark reminds you that he knows you don’t need supervision there.
The mere hint of time travel mischief gets the blue mice and pink elephants so excited that they fumble everything, and no time travel occurs.

See? Mischief!
Besides, ‘the way it was supposed to be’ depends on exactly when you make that determination.
Suppose Karl became fascinated with wine making on his father’s Moselle vineyards?

It isn’t me, is it? (Sent one in a month ago, nothing in my in-box since.)
And, good luck to all the relevant Hoyts in displacing their positions!

Not me. I have not sent in anything other than book news recently.

Yeah, I am gonna have to withdraw the documentary on how Jimmy Hoffa just got lost on the American road network due to the lack of implanted microwave tracking chips, and his death due to a lack of American National Healthcare. This is because I have finalized the sale to the BBC. I can expect to realize gains of up to four stones and seven pebbles over the next twenty three years.
(I’m joking, of course.)
I think UK prime wackjob Starmer could be a Pete, but it would be funnier to spell it Peat.

Peat Moss? Or Re Peat?

Pete fell off. Who was left?

AOC. Because she’s always misses out and what everybody else gets the first time, so she’s always left. Or Jasmine Corckett. Either one.

Not it. Haven’t the time to write posts. Spending too much time at the hospital. Which I first spelled sopital. I am totally using that new made up word in a story somewhere.
