*And if you wonder what I’m up to — I’m entering the changes and fixing typos so I can keep my promise to bring Witchfinder out today. Bear with me.
Later there will be a chapter of Rogue Magic. Also, cake.*
Just one entry this week, from our Poet in Virtual Residence, the fabulous Cyn. Go buy her book, and come back next week for more great reads! Hey guys, we’ll have more books next week, right? Right. Same Hunnish time, same Hunnish place! As always, future entries can (and should!) be sent to my email. Happy reading!

Living in the Desert
Living in the Desert is a collection of short stories about living in the high-deserts of California, Utah, and Nevada. There are stories of wildfires, and desert rescues, including a cougar attack. Also in keeping Nevada stories, there is at least one alien encounter.
The author grew up in the high desert of Utah, where T.V.’s were uncommon and every one had a favorite story.
Also available from Smashwords

Thank you Sarah and Jason– I will put up one of my poetry ebooks next week.

While I grew up in small town Illinois we would always spend summer with my great aunt in Ogden, so I have roots in northern Utah. I’m guessing Cyn was more down towards the south end of the state, that beautiful area around Bryce and Zion.
I have snapped up a Kindle copy of the book and am looking forward to the read. Thanks for the opportunity.

No, I grew up in the Northeast section of Utah. I have been through Bryce, lived in Las Vegas, and now live in Reno area. Been through Southern California several times. ;-)

(And then I’ll have to do is all the blurbs AND finish sprucing them up. sigh Any self-published authors do a good article on blurbs?)

Cedar had a good one a while back, and I found another good one somewhere else. Between the two, I think I’ve done a good job of blurbs for my customers recently. Let me see if I can dig them up. *annoying hold music*

Found ’em! Here’s Cedar’s article:
and I dropped a link to the other in the comments at the time. It’s focused on categorizing, but gives some great info on blurbs in the process. Good luck!

Cyn, you are an evil woman.
Finished your delightful little collection of mind bites (is so a perfectly valid term). You have a clarity of vision combined with more twists that a broken backed rattler.
Then I come upon the three chapter teaser for your EJ Hunter stories. That’s just wrong. You’re every bit as bad as Jim Baen was, handing out free book crack to the school kids.
